It's a long story, do you really want to read this? Ok...here goes...I'm a certified teacher, with vast experience in Business Ownership and Management, Interview Coaching, Resume Writing, Pharmaceutical Sales Recruiting, and Human Resource Functions. I started this site and blog because I have great passion for teaching candidates how to win the job...every time. Has anyone ever told you that your face lights up when you discuss a certain subject because you get so excited and passionate about it? Well, that's what people say about me...many candidates I've coached have remarked that they can "hear" my passion over the phone! Now to the good stuff...You probably want to know my track record, right? Obviously, an "interview coach" should have a great track record of winning jobs, eh? Well, I have beaten out literally hundreds of other candidates - and in one case thousands - in each job I've held. Ok, I take that back! That's not entirely true; here's what happened...I was young, a little too cocky about my early career success and decided to go for a Human Resource Management Position at a large, multi-state trucking corporation headquartered close to my town. With approximately 2 years of human resource experience (they required 7-10 years of experience) under my belt, I talked my way into the final interview - with only 2 candidates remaining. What had I done to reach this level of the interview process? Talk...literally, that's all I did. I didn't prepare, I brought no supporting documents, etc. After the final interview, the VP of Human Resources took nearly a week to make a decision. Finally he called and said they had labored over their decision long enough; they had chosen another candidate...with 25 years of human resource management experience! I took the loss pretty hard, but at the same time I couldn't believe that I had competed against a candidate of this level...and on top of that, the Vice President took a WEEK to decide which candidate to choose?! Wow! That's when I began to look at the interview process in a whole new light! It became a challenge for me to win every time! Guess What? I HAVE won every time, since that day! And, this attitude has served my candidates well...their win is my win! My overriding philosophy (oooh, now I'm getting deep!) is that the interview process, at its best, is really a sales model. You question the hiring manager to determine needs and wants, and then sell your skills and abilities based upon the information gained. It's really very simple! Hey...if I can do it, then you certainly can! My passion also involves reading sales books and turning sales techniques into powerful interview strategies. Within this blog, you'll see references to books I'm currently reading and how to utilize sales strategies to better market yourself within the interview process. Why Pharmaceutical Sales Interview Coaching? It's what I know best as a Pharmaceutical Sales Recruiter, Resume Writer, and Interview Coach - it's what I have the most experience in. I have a proven history of success in helping candidates win pharmaceutical sales jobs. You want to know what else? I think I like it because it's difficult...I love a good challenge. Everyone considers Pharmaceutical Sales the "Holy Grail" of sales jobs. Then I come along and teach candidates the strategies and techniques they need to win the job. Who looks like the hero? Yep...Me! Is this a great job, or what? Cool Link
